sps316.012 Permits are required for an electrical project at any of the following locations: 1. A farm. 2. A public building, structure, or premises. 3. A place of employment. 4. A campground. 5. A manufactured home community / mobile home park. 6. A public marina, pier, dock, or wharf. 7. A recreational vehicle park. or 8. other location per Municipal ordinance

State Statute 101.862 License or registration required. No person may engage in the business of installing, repairing, or maintaining electrical wiring unless the person is licensed as an electrical contractor by the department.
