Thank you for using REM Inspecting LLC.  Please fill out the below information for wiring projects serving any of the following locations:

1. A farm.
2. A public building, structure, or premises.
3. A place of employment.
4. A campground.
5. A manufactured home community.
6. A public marina, pier, dock, or wharf.
7. A recreational vehicle park.

If the wiring project is located at any other location then you only need to get an electrical inspection, click here for an electrical inspection application.

In general, REM Inspecting LLC fees are based on the following:

  1. Administration fee: up to $50 per permit.  This includes but not limited to office administration and expenses; application processing, filing and archiving; report processing and distribution; customer communications; personnel cost; etc.
  2. Inspection fee: $80 per hour (1 hour minimum) This may include but not limited to: on and off site inspection; research; reporting; project review; coordination; communication; certification; documentation; personnel cost; etc.
  3. Travel expense fee: $1.00 per mile.  this includes but not limited to transportation cost; personnel travel expenses; etc.
  4. other fees (credit card fee; late fees; etc)

  • 101.862  License or registration required. (1)  No person may engage in the business of installing, repairing, or maintaining electrical wiring unless the person is licensed as an electrical contractor by the department. (2) No person may install, repair, or maintain electrical wiring unless the person is licensed as an electrician by the department or unless the person is enrolled as a registered electrician by the department.
  • 101.862  License or registration required. (3) No person who is not a master electrician may install, repair, or maintain electrical wiring unless a master electrician is at all times responsible for the person's work.
