This page will guide builders to the areas on this website that will help you find answers to most of the questions you have about the dwelling permitting process. All builders that sign for a dwelling permit need to have both a current dwelling contractor and a dwelling contractor qualifier credential from the state of Wisconsin.

All plumbers need to have a current Wisconsin state issued license and the permit requires a current Master Plumber’s license number on the permit.

The HVAC contractor needs to have a current Wisconsin state issued license and it needs to be listed on the permit.

The Electrical Contractor needs to have a current Wisconsin state issued license and it needs to be listed on the permit.

All electricians need to have a current Wisconsin state issued license and the permit requires a current Master Electrician’s license number on the permit
